Business Intelligence Analyst Developer

About the position

Job description: My Client, a leading player in the Wealth Industry is in search of a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join their team. The successful incumbent will work in the IT solutions team within an Asset Management Division. They will be responsible for analysing, designing and building BI solutions that enable operations and business strategic goals. Their ability to solve complex problems and understand the business in detail will help the successful incumbent to thrive in an environment that puts a high value on data.

Responsibilities:

• Elicit and analyse business requirements.
• Design, build and maintain BI solutions through the full stack.
• Prepare and combine data from multiple sources to create a single source of truth.
• Relational and dimensional data modelling.
• Analyse and interpret data, build reports to provide business insights and improve business process.
• Mentor junior team members

Minimum requirements:

• Relevant degree
• 5 or more years' experience as a BI Analyst Developer
• Experience in either Power BI or Qlik
• Advanced SQL skills
• Strong numeracy
• Proven track record of project delivery

Advantageous requirements:

• MS SQL Server, SSIS, Power BI
• Snowflake, Talend, Qlik
