About the position

Role:

  • The role is responsible for analysing and interpreting data related to the organization's performance in order to inform strategic decision-making. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the Sales Director and other business stakeholders to ensure that there are effective sales reports as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Annually assist the Sales Director and the Sales Managers (Incl. MedTech) to create product-based sales targets for the sales team for the following Quarterly adjustments as per Financia l Forecast results
  • In collaboration with Sales Director and Sales Managers (Incl. MedTech) maintain customer (territory) and product portfolio mapping by sales representative
  • Convert data received from Wholesalers monthly and send to Global SAP BI team to maintain the Wholesaler Cube
  • Update mapping for the WS and Sales Cube as and when necessary, e.g. new customers, new products, attribute 3 changes.
  • Calculate sales team incentives Monthly/Quarterly/Annually
  • Continuous improvement of the various worksheets -Territory/Product/Rep/Region mapping tables
  • Provide the sales team with weekly updates - Sales vs Target YTD/MTD and 12-month unit sales trend.
  • Assist the Sales Director/Sales Managers (Incl. MedTech) with ad hoc reporting requests from time to time, e.g. Cycle Meetings and Sales Conference, Forecasting meetings.
  • Collaborate with Sales Director/MedTech BUM to build a monthly sale report.
  • Continuous improvement of various reports e.g. formats, content
  • Compile Waste Management reports for participating customers.
  • Back up for Market Intelligence manager in budgeting, forecasting and MTS processes.

Education:

  • Matric
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience in preparing and analysing sales force data (CRM), evaluating performance against targets.
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and reporting processes.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Collaborative team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant databases and data extraction techniques
