About the position

Purpose:*?
To ensure the efficient and timely submission of tenders, in compliance with company policies, government regulations, and client requirements.

Responsibilities:

Tender Preparation:

  • Review tender documents and specifications to understand requirements.
  • Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary information and pricing.
  • Prepare and compile tender documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the development of technical and commercial proposals.

Tender Submission:

  • Ensure timely submission of tenders within specified deadlines.

  • Prepare and submit required supporting documents.

  • Track and follow up on tender submissions.

Tender Management:

  • Maintain a comprehensive tender database and tracking system.
  • Monitor tender progress and update relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist in tender evaluation and selection processes.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all tendering regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tendering laws and industry best practices.

Bid Coordination:

  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during the bidding process.
  • Manage communication and information flow between departments.

Post-Tender Activities:

  • Assist in contract negotiation and award processes.
  • Maintain records of tender outcomes and lessons learned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum: Degree or Eqvilent to Business Managment or Office Management or similar qualification.
  • 5 years of working experience in Business Development or the specified field.
  • Ability to work and thrive in a high-stress and fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Drivers Licence
  • Understanding of Government SCM Process will be an added advantage
