You're a proactive and strategic business developer with a strong foothold in South Africa's retail financial services industry. You thrive in client-facing roles, are naturally persuasive, and collaborate with ease across departments. You're commercially astute, bring fresh ideas to the table, and are known for your ability to close deals with institutional, UHNW, and intermediary clients. Confidentiality, professionalism, and top-tier interpersonal skills come second nature to you.
You'll drive new business for investment management and family office offerings across South Africa's institutional and intermediary markets. From securing product placement on domestic and international platforms to engaging top IFAs and contributing to strategic marketing initiatives, you'll have direct impact on revenue growth. You'll collaborate with global stakeholders, lead pitches, support regulatory compliance, and help deliver tailored client experiences, all while representing a leading international brand known for excellence and innovation.

You'll hold a degree in Business, Finance or Investments, along with at least 5 years of proven business development experience in the retail investment industry. A deep understanding of financial products and platforms, exceptional communication skills, and strong analytical and project management abilities are key. Familiarity with CRM tools and the regulatory landscape is essential. Only candidates currently living in Cape Town can be considered.
