About the position

We are looking for a Business Development Officer, Properties with strong experience and excellent references.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric
  • 3-5 years’ experience within a Service/Security industry
  • Own vehicle
  • Computer literate
  • PSIRA registered within 3 months of employment

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • The role of a business development consultant is associated with various tasks, duties, and responsibilities.
  • They are responsible for sales effectiveness by providing a solution through assessing the client requirements, market trends, company needs and capabilities.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Responsible for the growth of the company by means of sales
  • Achieve or better sales budget
  • Ensure sales budget both turnover and GP are achieved
  • Canvassing - know what is happening in your area at all times
  • Achieve or better 100 calls per week
  • Achieve or better 10 new appointments per week
  • Achieve or better 5 quotations per week
  • Achieve appointments 1/10 ratio
  • Ensure all paperwork is in place (Hand over documents, quotations, profit sheets, contracts, resolution letters, credit check)
  • Ensure no sales complaints are received by Clients
  • Ensure building of relationships and entertaining
  • Ensure company policies are adhered to
  • Adhere to company working hours
  • Ensure an integrated solution is sold to the client
  • Conduct needs analysis / site visits
  • Attending site startups, site start up photos
  • 10 days after start up – site start up evaluation score card
  • Uploading everything on the CRM system (Magnitude) – make sure it is updated at all times
