Business Development Manager (Mining)
As a Mining Business Development Manager, your role will primarily involve identifying and cultivating new business opportunities within the underground mining sector. You will work closely with the Technical Manager to maintain customer relationships, provide on-site product installation training, and attend industry conferences. Your responsibilities will also include reporting on weekly activities and contributing to the company's growth.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Strategic Support: Provide invaluable support to the Technical Manager in daily operations, actively participating in strategic planning and execution.
- Customer Engagement: Foster strong customer relationships through attentive care and proactive communication. Conduct follow-up visits to ensure their satisfaction and address their needs.
- KnowledgeSharing: Share your expertisewithcustomersandcrewby offering on-site training sessions, ensuring the correct installation of underground products. Be a mentor and guide in this critical aspect of our service.
- Business Growth: Collaborate in the discovery of new business prospects and act as an ambassador for the company
- QualityAssurance:CollaboratewiththeTechnicalManagertoensureproductquality. Conduct product testing as needed, adhering to their guidance, to guarantee our offerings meet the highest standards.
- Industry Engagement: Represent our company at industry conferences, including SANIREmeetingsandgroundsupportevents,asrequested.Networkandkeepabreast of the latest industry trends.
- Effective Reporting: Regularly submit comprehensive written reports on your activities to the Technical Manager, facilitating open communication and data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications and Experience
- Engineering related qualification
- Strong understanding of underground mining processes and products.
- Customer Relationship Management- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities. ? Adept at assisting with product testing and on-site training.
- Willingness to travel locally and cross-border, along with the flexibility to stay away from home for short periods.
- Strong organizational skills for providing weekly written reports.
- Demonstrated MSOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) capability
