About the position
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies focused on IT networking products, cybersecurity solutions, and services.
- Identify, engage, and nurture new business opportunities across South Africa and Middle Africa.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and after-sales support.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
- Provide market feedback to help shape product offerings and business strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Business Development Manager in IT networking, cybersecurity products, or cybersecurity services.
- Demonstrable success selling into South Africa and other African regions, preferably with an existing pipeline in Middle Africa.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity market trends and technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed.
