Hire?Resolve’s client, a prominent player in the wealth management industry, is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their team in either Pretoria or Cape Town. Responsibilities
Revenue Growth
- Collaborate with the ASE to drive annual revenue growth across a list of 25 advisors.
- Execute initiatives such as cross-selling, AUA conversion, and Gross Contribution margin improvement.
- Promote active use of the firm’s digital platforms to enhance client engagement and portfolio management.
- Provide regular performance feedback and development support to advisors.
Strategic Planning & Market Analysis- Assist in developing business development plans aligned with company objectives.
- Share market analysis insights to guide decision-making and strategy adjustments.
- Coordinate marketing and product strategies to ensure alignment with market needs.
Advisor Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with advisors.
- Address advisor needs by offering solutions that enhance satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and support opportunities to convert leads into long-term partnerships.
Training & Development- Support the ASE in delivering training on the firm’s digital platforms.
- Organize workshops and training sessions to equip advisors with the skills needed to meet revenue goals.
- Mentor advisors to foster continuous development and growth.
Event Participation & Networking- Represent the company at sales and networking events alongside the ASE.
- Leverage events to strengthen relationships, gather insights, and attract potential advisors.
Performance Measurement- Monitor and report sales performance data, recommending strategy adjustments as needed.
- Evaluate and suggest enhancements to the firm’s digital platforms based on advisor feedback and performance metrics.
Requirements- Fluent in Afrikaans
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- RE1 and RE5 certifications (advantageous)
- Diploma in Financial Planning / CFP (advantageous)
- Minimum 5 years in financial services, focusing on sales, business development, or advisor management.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing client relationships.
- Experience leveraging technology to enhance advisor performance.
