About the position

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with existing, new and prospective institutional investor and Limited Partner, asset consultant, principal officer and trustee relationships. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and presentation of all marketing and fundraising materials related to the firm's various current and future funds.
  • To construct proposals for acquisition of new investors, including submission of tenders, RFIs, RFPs as well as capture and disseminate all learning points to broader teams.
  • Influence product development and distribution channels.
  • Develop and implement sales and organic growth strategies for both new and existing partners.
  • New business proposal drafting and presentations.
  • Attend industry conferences, networking events and seminars on an ad-hoc basis to represent the company.

  • Execute the Investor Relations strategy for the company.
    o Design an investor communication plan and material by liaising across functions to acquire and incorporate information from all business units.
    o Create and update a consistent external message by drafting key statements, presentations and analysis for use by management during investor appointments,
    o Manage the creation and development of investor relations marketing material,
    documentation and presentations for both equity and debt investors.

  • Manage the investor relations website and development of a communication plan to ensure engaging content is regularly uploaded and maintained.
    o Support the creation of thought-leadership and industry update communications to
    investors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience within the pension fund industry
  • 3 - 4 years' prior industry-related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
