You're a results-driven, commercially sharp dealmaker who thrives on building relationships and closing high-impact deals. With a strong background in business development, ideally in the renewable or industrial sectors. You're entrepreneurial, proactive, and energised by new opportunities. You have a knack for understanding client needs, presenting compelling proposals, and navigating complex negotiations with confidence and clarity.
You'll spearhead business development efforts, identifying and engaging with commercial and industrial clients seeking solar and hybrid energy solutions. From generating leads and preparing proposals to negotiating deals and nurturing long-term relationships, you'll own the full sales cycle. You'll also collaborate across teams to ensure smooth project delivery, while providing strategic input on market trends and commercial opportunities in a dynamic and fast-evolving sector
You'll be joining a stable, fast-growing solar energy provider that delivers reliable, cost-effective clean power solutions to commercial and industrial clients. With a strong presence in South Africa's energy landscape, this values-driven business offers an entrepreneurial, collaborative culture where your initiative and commercial acumen will be key to ongoing success.
You bring at least 5 years' experience in business development or commercial roles within the renewable energy or industrial sectors. You've closed high-value deals, understand financial modelling, and are confident navigating negotiations. Adaptability, drive, and strong communication skills are essential. Ideally, you're Cape Town-based and open to travel as needed.
