About the position

A well-known international speciality ingredient and agrochemicals raw materials chemical manufacturing company requires the above to drive business growth, manage client relationships, and expand market presence.
Minimum requirements for the role:

  • A degree in chemistry, industrial chemistry or related qualification is essential for this role.
  • Previous experience having worked within either a sales or a technical role working within the business-to-business chemical sector, preferably in agrochemicals and/or experience working in a technical role focused on agrochemical products is preferred for the role.
  • Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Must have knowledge of the MS Office package.
  • Must be results driven and passionate with the ability to build and foster strong strategic relationships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Driving business growth, managing client relationships, and expanding market presence within the speciality ingredient and agrochemicals raw materials within the agrochemical industries.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to increase market share.
  • Managing and expanding the customer portfolio within the agricultural chemical sector.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Negotiating contracts and close deals effectively.
  • Collaborating with technical and R&D teams to provide clients with tailored solutions.
  • Monitoring market developments in order to identify and grow market share.
  • Managing, achieving and exceeding sales volumes, value, profit and key performance indicator targets.
  • Offering technical support, commissioning and first level troubleshooting when required as well as providing technical support for customers.
  • Reviewing the value proposition to ensure the product offering remains a premium brand.
  • Forecasting and managing stock levels to ensure stock requirements are met.

Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
