About the position
Position: Business Development Consultant – Generalist

Inherent Requirements:
- Matric qualification
- 5 to 8 years of Sales and New Business Development experience in a Permanent recruitment environment
- Knowledge and proven experience in various sectors such as Finance, FMCG, Mining, IT, Engineering, Supply Chain and Logistics, Government, etc.
- Experience in account management and new business development
- Proficiency in cold calling
- Communication skills (written and verbal)
- Deadline-driven with the ability to work under extreme pressure
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle (essential)
Preferred Requirements:
- Proficiency in a third language (advantageous)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducting telesales to secure appointments/presentations with clients
- Networking to build a solid client database
- Obtaining and maintaining long-term key clients by understanding their requirements and cross-selling service/product offerings
- Achieving sales targets and closing deals
- Identifying market leads and conducting in-depth research to identify market trends
- Meeting daily activity targets
- Assisting with the growth and visibility of recruitment through brand and service marketing to increase market share
- Establishing company objectives, goals, processes, and plans in alignment with strategic directions
- Drafting recruitment proposals and completing presentations for clients
- Preparing sales reports on pending and closed deals
- Managing and maintaining relationships with customers, vendors, suppliers, and clients
- Meeting with clients/line managers to brief on positions
- Conducting site visits with clients to better understand requirements and operations

Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30
- Overtime as and when required
