Brief Job Description:
- The Business Development Analyst plays a key role in supporting COOi Studios growth objectives by conducting market research, driving client acquisition efforts, developing proposals, and supporting partnerships and project delivery
- This role offers an opportunity to apply analytical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced consulting environment
- It also serves as an entry point into a career in business consulting
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Analysis and Business Development
- Conduct basic market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, target industries, and new business opportunities aligned with COOi Studios service offering
- Assist with drafting development strategies and market entry plans
- Attend conferences, forums, and networking events to learn and raise COOi Studios profile
- Coordinate internal logistics for business development activities under the guidance of the project manager
- Sales Management and Proposal Development
- Follow up on leads, qualify prospects, and support them through the sales process with supervision
- Prepare customisable, visually compelling pitch decks, proposals, and quotations in collaboration with the senior analyst
- Maintain accurate documentation in the CRM and update internal tracking systems
- Client and Partner Engagement
- Support client relationship building by scheduling meetings, taking notes, and assisting with onboarding
- Assist in post-engagement follow-ups and performance reviews to gather feedback and drive client satisfaction
- Project Governance and Delivery Support
- Participate in project planning sessions and governance check-ins to track milestones and flag risks
- Assist with creating reports and templates to support business and client delivery alignment
- Team Development and Upskilling
- Participate in internal team training and contribute to sessions by sharing updates on leads, market research, or partner activity
- Support onboarding of Professionals in Training or junior colleagues by offering guidance on tasks such as research, CRM entries, or proposal formatting
- Partnerships and Ecosystem Engagement
- Assist in managing and updating records for key ecosystem partners (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, ESD Partners)
- Support the planning and execution of joint partnership initiatives, such as webinars, pilot projects, or events
- Brand Visibility and Recognition
- Assist in the preparation of submissions for industry awards, conferences, and thought leadership articles
- Coordinate with the marketing team to provide content and research to support COOi Studios branding and visibility efforts
- Team Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with junior Professionals in Training and support staff to quality-check research documents and CRM updates
- Ensure that all business development activities are well-documented and aligned to COOi Studios brand and methodologies
Skills:
- Sales Skills and Stakeholder Management as this is a client-facing role
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
- 1–2 years’ experience in a Business Development, Market Research, or Sales Support environment
- Strong writing, communication, and research skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) is a plus
- Interest in consulting, innovation, and market-based solutions
