The Role: Business Consultant - Property & Estate Agency FX
This role focuses on the property industry and estate agents in the Southern Suburbs, developing long-term partnerships and supporting their clients with foreign exchange and cross-border payment needs. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building a strong referral network, and managing clients from initial enquiry through to trade readiness and completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver annual and monthly sales targets in line with the companys sales strategy
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, property professionals, and their clients
- Build a long-term pipeline of sales opportunities within the Southern Suburbs property market
- Establish and expand an effective regional network of introducers and FX market influencers
- Maintain and grow senior-level relationships with FX partners and introducing advisors
- Identify client needs and generate, manage, and close FX sales opportunities
- Provide appropriate FX solutions and services aligned to client requirements
- Support introducing partners and clients from enquiry through to trade completion
- Facilitate client onboarding, including registration and collection of KYC documentation
- Manage clients to full trade readiness in line with regulatory requirements
- Prepare an annual sales plan with monthly and quarterly updates and revisions
- Adhere to ethical principles, regulatory standards, and best practice at all times
About You
- Strongly target-driven with the ability to work under pressure
- Sales experience within financial services is advantageous
- Experience or exposure to the property or estate agency sector is beneficial
- Good understanding of FX sales, systems, and processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner
- Confident in cold calling, influencing, and persuading at all levels
- Highly motivated, committed, and willing to go the extra mile
- Fast learner with a proactive, self-starter mindset
- Organized with excellent diary management and time management skills
- Team player comfortable working within a small, collaborative team
- Open, friendly, and approachable with strong interpersonal skills
- Professional, neat, and presentable in appearance and conduct
- Displays gravitas, emotional maturity, and confidence when engaging clients
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans is advantageous
- Matric qualification with regulatory exams (RE) and FAIS compliance
- A relevant business or legal qualification would be beneficial
- Entrepreneurial experience would be advantageous
