PeopleSolved is currently recruiting for a Business Architect/Senior Business Analyst with enterprise systems experience for a 1-year contract, based in CAPE TOWN.

About the Role:

As a Business Architect / Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in analysing, designing, and improving business processes and systems within a complex enterprise environment. Leveraging your expertise in object-oriented design, the software development lifecycle, and business process modeling, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver innovative, feasible, and cost-effective solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed functional analysis and feasibility studies
• Leading data governance and data management initiatives
• Applying infrastructure architecture and enterprise architecture principles
• Managing projects and driving change management exercises
• Facilitating as-is/to-be business process modeling and business process re-engineering (BPR)
• Making well-reasoned recommendations that align with business objectives

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience in business analysis or business architecture within enterprise systems
• Strong background in Data Governance and Data Management
• Experience with infrastructure and enterprise architecture
• Extensive project management and stakeholder engagement experience
• Skilled in conducting feasibility studies, including cost analysis
• Expertise in business process modeling and improvement methodologies (BPMN, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with IT capabilities and systems limitations

Qualifications & Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred
• Advanced degrees such as MBA or Master's in Information Systems highly desirable
• Professional certifications in business process management (e.g., BPMN), Six Sigma, Lean Management, or related disciplines advantageous
