My client based in Tygervalley is currently looking for a Business Architect / Analyst to join their team on a contract basis.
IT / FINANCE
Qualifications & Experience
- Enterprise-wide understanding of business, with specific exposure to insurance (short-term or life).
- Strong appreciation of strategy, processes, capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.
- Experience in identifying structural issues, functional interdependencies, and cross-silo redundancies.
- Proven ability to apply architectural principles to business solutions.
- Skilled in assimilating and correlating complex documentation and articulating its relevance to high-priority business issues.
- Experience with model-based representations and creating high-level business architecture models.
- Extensive experience planning and deploying both business and IT initiatives.
- Proficient in business process modeling using various tools and techniques.
- Experienced in Agile methodologies, including SCRUM and user stories.
- Understanding of business and IT strategy alignment, workflow automation, and benefit realization.
- Previous experience in a similar role within financial services, ideally in short-term or life insurance.
Responsibilities
- Define business design principles and create the blueprint for the Wealth Bonus offering, ensuring alignment with suggested offerings and value propositions.
- Define and document business requirements for relevant platforms to meet business objectives.
- Identify underlying solution/system enablers and define requirements for each identified platform.
- Map end-to-end business processes and operational flows, highlighting integrated activities and events.
- Identify and map relationships between different business units, including roles, responsibilities, governance, and standards.
- Document high-level user stories for solution design.
- Assist Business Owners and Product Owners with backlog creation, prioritization, and process management.
- Contribute to conceptualization, design, and implementation of integrated business solutions.
