Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Senior Business Analyst to join a large-scale retail transformation programme focused on Supply Chain Forecasting and Replenishment.
The successful candidate will play a key role throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery and business case development through to solution delivery, testing, implementation and business support. This role requires a strong Business Analyst who can engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders while translating complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.
Experience within retail supply chain environments is essential, with exposure to forecasting, replenishment and inventory optimisation initiatives. Experience working with AI-enabled forecasting platforms such as Relex or similar solutions will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Business Analysis
- Participate in the Discovery Phase, contributing to business cases, solution design and high-level requirements.
- Assist with solution architecture discussions and business process design.
- Analyse current business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.
- Conduct impact assessments across business processes, systems and stakeholders.
- Support solution evaluation and recommend improvements aligned to business objectives.
Requirements Management
- Develop and execute the Business Analysis approach and delivery plan.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery sessions with business and technical stakeholders.
- Elicit, analyse, validate and document business and functional requirements.
- Produce high-quality Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications and supporting documentation.
- Translate business requirements into:
- Epics
- Features
- User Stories
- Acceptance Criteria
- Ensure requirements are complete, traceable and aligned to business objectives.
Business Process Analysis
- Document current ("As-Is") and future ("To-Be") business processes.
- Perform gap analysis and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Recommend streamlined business processes that improve operational efficiency.
- Facilitate business process validation with stakeholders.
Solution Delivery
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Developers, Product Owners, Vendors and Project Managers throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies where applicable.
- Participate in backlog refinement and solution clarification sessions.
- Assist with solution validation throughout development.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Define and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Coordinate UAT activities with business users.
- Validate delivered functionality against documented requirements.
- Support defect management and issue resolution.
Data & Integration Analysis
- Analyse data flows between systems.
- Understand integrations, interfaces and system dependencies.
- Work closely with technical teams to define data mapping and integration requirements.
- Validate data quality and solution outputs.
Training & Business Support
- Develop user guides and training material where required.
- Facilitate business training sessions.
- Provide post-implementation support.
- Support Business-as-Usual (BAU) activities during transition to operational teams.
Minimum Requirements
- Certified Business Analyst qualification.
- Minimum 7+ years' Business Analysis experience.
- Proven retail industry experience.
- Strong Supply Chain experience.
- Experience with Forecasting and Replenishment processes.
- Experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong stakeholder management across:
- Executive leadership
- Business users
- Technical teams
- Third-party vendors
- Experience documenting:
- BRDs
- Functional Requirements
- User Stories
- Acceptance Criteria

- Strong facilitation and workshop leadership skills.
- Experience conducting impact assessments.

- Strong understanding of data, system integrations and interfaces.
Highly Advantageous
- Experience with AI-enabled Forecasting & Replenishment platforms such as Relex or similar supply chain optimisation solutions.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.
- Knowledge of inventory optimisation, demand planning and replenishment strategies.
- Exposure to ERP and Supply Chain Management platforms.
