Our Client is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst (Finance) to drive technology and process initiatives that deliver measurable business impact. You will lead cross-functional projects, mentor junior analysts, and act as the key link between business units and IT systems.

Reports to the Portfolio Manager - Finance

Responsibilities:

• Analyse, document, and translate business requirements into actionable solutions
• Partner with architects and project managers to ensure accurate design and delivery
• Oversee functional testing, user acceptance, and solution roll-outs
• Provide Level 2 support for system users and operational issues
• Propose and implement system enhancements to improve performance
• Manage vendor relationships and assist with application-related queries
• Maintain centralised system documentation and process records
• Lead and mentor junior analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent tertiary qualification
• Minimum 8 years' experience as a Business Analyst in wholesale/retail
• At least 5 years' direct Business Analysis experience
• Strong knowledge of frameworks such as BABOK, ALM, SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall
• In-depth understanding of retail systems and application stacks
• Proven ability to design, optimise, and govern business processes
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capability
