What you will be doing:
- Engage with stakeholders (product team, users, partners) to understand and define business needs.
- Problem analysis and resolution: Uses sound judgment to identify and solve problems
- Design and track experiments with defined success metrics to validate approaches.
- Convert findings into detailed business and functional requirements for development - focus on data-driven decision making
- Align requirements with business, users, and developers to ensure clarity and feasibility.
- Prioritise work in collaboration with the Product team, aligned with the roadmap.
- Identify risks, assumptions, and dependencies within business and technical contexts.
- Define testing criteria and support both User Acceptance Testing and solution adoption.
- Contribute to internal improvements and perform other duties to support quality platform delivery.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial (IT, Informatics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
- 6 - 10 years experience as a Business Analyst in Agile software development teams.
- Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of analytics techniques and mathematical concepts.
- Effective communicator, able to explain insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experienced with complex products, having worked on similar-scale systems in the past two years.
- Adaptable and accountable, responds well to change and takes ownership of outcomes.
- Clear and impactful communicator, using appropriate tools and formats for varied audiences.
- Team player and problem solver, with strong judgment and collaborative mindset.
