Business Analyst

About the position

My client based in Tygerfalls, Cape Town is currently looking for a Business Analyst to join their team on a fixed term contract.

IT / FINANCE

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation workshops, interviews, and analysis sessions with key business stakeholders.
• Analyse business processes, systems, data flows, and operational challenges to identify improvement opportunities and recommend effective solutions.
• Document and manage business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, process flows, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with project teams, technical resources, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions are delivered in line with business objectives.
• Support project planning, requirements prioritisation, testing activities, implementation readiness, and business adoption initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• BCom, BSc, Diploma in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or a related qualification.
• Minimum 7 years' Business Analysis experience within complex business and technology environments.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, stakeholder management, solution design support, and business requirements documentation.
• Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA, or equivalent) and Financial Services/Short-Term Insurance industry experience will be advantageous.
