About the position

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead business analysis across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
  • Produce high-quality documentation including Business Requirements Documents, Functional Specification, User Stories and Process Maps.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and engagement sessions.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for development teams.
  • Support SDLC phases including design, development, testing and UAT.
  • Support the UAT process by providing guidance and clarifying requirements ambiguities.
  • Maintain requirements traceability.
  • Conduct gap analysis and process improvement activities.

 
Key deliverables:

  • Business and functional requirements documentation.
  • Process maps and workflow diagrams.
  • Stakeholder engagement outputs.
  • Traceability matrices and UAT support artefacts.

 
Governance, risk and compliance:

  • Ensure all processes align with organisational governance, compliance, and audit standards.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for process changes and digital initiatives.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing process evidence, metrics, and controls.
  • Embed quality, risk management, and controls into process design.

 
Qualifications and experience:

  • Relevant Degree / Diploma in IT, Business Analysis, Information Systems or related field; or recognised Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant Business Analysis experience within Software Application Development environments.
  • Proven experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.

 
Required skills and competencies:

  • Strong documentation and requirements specification skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio.

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-driven and accountable.
  • Collaborative team player.
