About the position

Business Analyst
Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering

  • Skilled in eliciting requirements using interviews, workshops, surveys, document analysis and site visits
  • Ability to analyse, decompose and synthesise information from multiple sources
  • Competent in developing business requirements specifications, use cases, business rules and functional requirements

Process Mapping and Solution Design

  • End to end AS IS and TO BE process investigation and documentation
  • Business process and workflow analysis to identify efficiencies, improvements and solutions
  • Ability to propose viable solution options based on expertise

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

  • Experience engaging internal and external stakeholders up to C level
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills across business domains
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving

  • Translate high level business needs into detailed, actionable requirements
  • Evaluate conflicting information and abstract complex data into meaningful insights
  • Develop business cases, cost benefit analyses, KPIs and risk assessments

Project and Change Management

  • Estimate analysis effort and time, plan and manage analysis related tasks
  • Support vendor selection through RFP specifications
  • Participate in or manage projects within defined timelines and budgets
  • Support organisational change through communication and stakeholder engagement

Testing and Quality Assurance

  • Develop test cases and support user acceptance testing
  • Ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards

Customer Centric Mindset

  • Think from the customer perspective and seek ways to continuously add value
  • Challenge and support customers to optimise outcomes

  • Familiarity with BA standards, BABOK, IIBA tools and documentation templates

Qualifications and Experience

  • BA certification, IIBA Level 2 or BABOK, or relevant B degree such as BTech or BCom Informatics
  • 4 to 6 years telecommunications related business analysis experience with end user facing requirements work
