Business Analyst

About the position

Psybergate is an IT company that builds bespoke software solutions and provides highly skilled resources to its clients.
We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our financial services client based in Sandton for a 12-months contract role. 

The Business Analyst will be responsible for eliciting, analysing, and translating business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications that enable effective solution delivery.
What you will be doing:

• Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder engagements.
• Analyse current-state and future-state business processes.
• Translate requirements into user stories, use cases, process flows, and specifications.
• Work closely with development, testing, and project teams throughout delivery.
• Support testing, implementation, and user adoption activities.
• Ensure requirements traceability and alignment with business objectives.

What we are looking for:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience working within banking or financial services environments.
• Strong analytical thinking, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.
