About the position
Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to join the team on a 3 - 6 month contract basis. In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders across various client engagements to gather requirements, define business needs, and translate them into functional specifications that guide the development and implementation of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and objectives
- Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements
- Translate business needs into clear, detailed functional specifications
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure alignment across the SDLC
- Support UAT and facilitate user feedback sessions
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Contribute to documentation, training, and change management efforts
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field
- 3+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within IT consulting or related industries
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects in fast-paced environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Nice to Have
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Business Analyst Associate, Power Platform certifications, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals)
- Experience in digital transformation or enterprise system implementations
- Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
