About the position
Elicit and translate business requirements from stakeholders to clear technical requirements which can be measured and tested as well as ensuring that all new requirements are aligned with product strategy.
Translate business requirements into clearly defined user stories, use cases, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
Follow and manage requirements and/or features throughout the SLDC process to ensure efficient delivery of features across system versions.
Continuously analyse system-and-business processes to identify shortcomings and inefficiencies in order to develop the product in anticipation of business needs.
Conduct user demos of system versions and managing the change process across versions to ensure user buy-in.
Compose and update user and system documentation and to ensure that product knowledge is easily attainable.
Research and compose business cases for newly proposed initiatives and manage small projects that are accepted under the product umbrella.
Facilitate communication between business units, product owners, and software development teams.
Participate in solution design sessions, ensuring requirements are accurately interpreted.
Analyse existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.
Support backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritisation activities within Agile or hybrid methodologies.
Conduct impact assessments and gap analyses for new features or changes.
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case creation and defect triage.
Maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle and support change-management activities.
Minimum Requirements:
Requirements:
2 - 3 years Business analysis experience.
IT related Qualification / Degree.
Dynatrace would be beneficial / nice to have.
Must come from a previous IT / Development / Application environment / background.
Must have own Car & License.
Pretoria / Johannesburg based candidates – this is a Consulting role (and this person will be expected to visit clients).
