About the position
As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in translating business goals into actionable solutions, supporting the Product Owner and delivery teams to ensure alignment between development outputs and business outcomes. You’ll be at the center of the agile delivery process—defining user stories, validating against acceptance criteria, assessing feasibility, and enabling clear communication between business and technical stakeholders.
Your focus will be on maximizing value, enabling efficient iteration planning, and ensuring delivery of customer-centric, digitally enabled solutions.
Key Accountabilities
- Define Business Needs: Translate the current state into clearly articulated problem statements, opportunities, or constraints, supporting ideation with business motivation and desired outcomes.
- User Story Development: Collaborate with the Product Owner and stakeholders to define and prioritize user stories and ensure they are broken down and ready for development.
- Facilitate Agile Delivery: Ensure requirements are clearly understood by development teams, support the definition and execution of acceptance tests, and facilitate backlog refinement.
- Cross-Team Communication: Work across squads and commercial teams to assess impacts and incorporate change management activities into delivery.
- Risk & Opportunity Analysis: Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and opportunities; support transparent reporting and iterative planning.
- Design Thinking & CX: Contribute to designing end-to-end journeys and fulfillment processes with a user-centric approach.
Requirements - Proficient in user story creation, refinement, and backlog management.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) and experience operating in digital product environments.
- Experience in user and technical acceptance testing, including defining criteria and validating outcomes.
- Skilled in customer experience design, market research, and lean product development (MVPs).
- Strong data-driven decision-making mindset.
- Familiar with business capability mapping, digital process design, and enterprise-scale systems.
- Proficiency with team collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project.
- Strong facilitation, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience, with at least 2+ years in a Business Analyst or equivalent role in agile software development.
- Experience across the end-to-end product lifecycle, from MVP to scaled solutions.
- Proven track record of working with agile methodologies and managing senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of telecommunications industry is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and other agile planning tools.
