About the position
My client based in Cape Town (North) is currently looking for a SAP SuccessFactors Business Analyst to join them on an Independent Contract basis
Location: Brackenfell, Western Cape Contract Type: Full-time
Role Overview
The SAP SuccessFactors Business Analyst bridges HR business needs and technology solutions. This role involves eliciting business requirements, configuring modules, ensuring data integrity, and managing the employee lifecycle within the HRIS environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirement Elicitation: Translate organizational HR needs into functional, cost-effective system requirements and process specifications.
- System Optimization: Support SAP SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Onboarding, Performance & Goals).
- Data Integrity: Develop data quality metrics, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain reliable, high-quality system data.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between HR domain experts, IT delivery teams, and third-party vendors to drive system enhancements.
- Change Management: Facilitate workshops, draft specification documentation, and manage the impact of system upgrades on end-users.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years in a Business Analyst role, with strong background in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile environments.
- Domain Knowledge: Expert understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycles, and HR systems.
- System Exposure: Hands-on experience or strong exposure to SAP SuccessFactors administration.
- Competencies: Strong IT and process modelling skills, data analysis, and the ability to bridge gaps between business and technology.
