About the position
The ideal candidate is a High-performing senior sales leader with demonstrated leadership capability, a proven "door opener", and leader who has built their career long term in a specific sector, has deep enterprise-client experience, and brings significant influence at C-suite level.
They will bring tangible traction, active sales pipelines, new logos, and a well-developed & maintained "black book" of senior client relationships, which will be a critical asset in driving early commercial impact.
Role and Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and execute the business unit's sales and growth strategy in line with group objectives
- Identify new markets, revenue streams, partnerships, and growth opportunities
- Translate strategy into clear operating plans, targets, and performance metrics
Revenue & Performance Ownership:
- Own and deliver aggressive revenue, margin, and growth targets
- Drive pipeline generation, deal execution, and customer acquisition at scale
- Ensure accurate forecasting, reporting, and sales performance management
Team & Capability Building:
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing sales leadership and execution team
- Attract, develop, and retain top commercial talent suited to a hypergrowth environment
- Establish scalable sales processes, governance, and operating rhythms
Stakeholder & Market Engagement:
- Act as a senior interface with key clients, partners, and strategic accounts
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations leadership
- Represent the business unit internally and externally as a credible commercial leader
Governance & Execution Excellence:
- Ensure compliance with commercial, financial, and ethical standards
- Drive disciplined execution while maintaining agility and speed to market

Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field (MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred).
- 10 years' experience within the same or similar role, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership or BU role.
- CCIE Certifications and License
