About the position

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in brazing in a manufacturing environment
• Able to read and interpret drawings

Responsibilities

• Check all components and pipes on unit as per production request form
• Fit components on unit and connect the pipes
• Braze all pipes to fittings
• Clean when complete
• Pressure test unit to check for leaks
• Paint pipe and do touch ups when complete
• Capillary must be fitted, and all nuts and bolts should be tightened and torqued to the Departments SOP
• Maintain housekeeping standards

Our Client who is in the manufacturing sector, is looking for an experienced Brazer to utilise a variety of brazing techniques to join or assemble metal components. Position is based on the East Rand.
