Our client is looking to employ a Branch Manager based in Worcester
Responsibilities
- Sales & Target Management - Monitoring performance against targets and driving promotional success.
- Stock Control - Ensuring accurate stock levels, pricing, and product availability.
- Cost Management - Controlling manpower, delivery charges, and consumables to optimise expenses.
- Operational Efficiency - Maintaining store standards, merchandising, and equipment functionality.
- Security & Risk Management - Implementing surveillance, access control, and theft prevention measures.
- Cash Handling & Reconciliation - Overseeing secure money handling and daily reconciliations.
- System Proficiency (OMNIX) - Generating reports on sales, stock, shrinkage, and deliveries.
- Team Leadership & Discipline - Motivating staff, managing leave, and enforcing fair workplace policies.
- Communication - Liaising effectively with management and staff to resolve issues and improve operations.
- Housekeeping & Hygiene - Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming shopping environment
- Performance management of _+ 50 staff members
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
- Available immediately (preferred)
- Grade 12 / Matric is a must!
- 5 - 6 years Strategic Branch Manager /Retail experience
- Management of Staff is a must!
- Strong Computer literacy on MS Suite Package is a must!
- Valid Drivers' license and own transport
- Willing to work Retail hours
