Bookkeeper to Trial Balance at Ntice Search

About the position

Our client, a very successful bespoke Accounting Firm who offers outsourced accounting services to corporate companies, is looking for a Bookkeeper to Trial Balance to join their growing company, based on Umhlanga Ridge

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Manage various email inboxes by responding to queries and actioning finance-related requests in a timely manner.
• Daily capturing of bank account transactions.
• Cash Book reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding debtors.
• Assist customers with requests for invoices, statements, and invoice queries.
• Loading and processing of monthly debit orders.
• Manage creditors - new account creations, capture invoices, match purchase orders, reconcile supplier statements and prepare payment packs.
• Creation and maintenance of internal purchase orders.
• Prepare and process weekly ad hoc payments and staff reimbursements.
• Maintain digital filing system for all financial records/documentation.

Minimum Requirements: 

Education and Experience: 

• Matric
• Relevant Degree / Diploma or studying towards a definite advantage
• Minimum 2 years' experience in the field of Bookkeeping to Trial Balance      
• Good working knowledge of EXCEL, SAGE Accounting, XERO a pre-requisite
