Our Client is looking for Bookkeeper to join our team.
Location: Honeydew, Gauteng
About
An experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper is required to join a finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting functions, and supporting the preparation of financial reports. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping functions.
- Process and reconcile the Trial Balance.
- Prepare monthly Management Accounts.
- Manage the full Creditors function, including supplier reconciliations and payments.
- Perform bank, debtor, and creditor reconciliations.
- Process journals and general ledger entries.
- Manage Stock Control and Stock Management, including stock reconciliations and reporting.
- Process invoices, credit notes, and payments accurately.
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial processes.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and financial documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Prepare reports and provide administrative support to the finance department.
- Liaise with suppliers, internal departments, and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
- Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping systems.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience in a bookkeeping or finance role.
- Proven experience with Trial Balance and Management Accounts.
- Strong Creditors experience.
- Experience in Stock Control and Stock Management.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
