Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions, including cashbook, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Review financial transactions and documents to ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax requirements, resolving any discrepancies
• Oversee the timely and accurate closure of monthly accounts, including month-end journals
• Assist in financial reporting and audits
• Provide general bookkeeping support to the team

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or QuickBooks
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Package:

The proposed salary for the role is R30k - R35k per month - the final offer will depend on qualifications, experience and skills.
