About the position
PeopleSolved is currently recruiting for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a Media Agency, specialising in Amazon reimbursements, for a 3-month fixed term contract. This opportunity is based in Centurion.
In this role, you'll play a key part in processing reimbursement claims, managing shortages, and ensuring accurate financial recoveries.
This is a hands-on position that requires persistence, accuracy, and the confidence to investigate discrepancies while helping clients recover costs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process reimbursement claims in Amazon Vendor Central / Seller Central.
- Track shortages, chargebacks, recoveries, and investigate discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed financial records of all claims and reimbursements.
- Reconcile accounts against Amazon statements for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitor outstanding claims and follow up until resolution.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reimbursement reports and highlight anomalies.
- Provide insights into recovery patterns, risks, and delays.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and Amazon guidelines.
- Collaborate with finance and operations to optimise reimbursement workflows.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Clerk (eCommerce or retail experience advantageous).
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and reconciliations.
- Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central/Seller Central processes (claims, reimbursements, chargebacks) highly desirable.
- Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets with strong data management skills.
- Analytical, accurate, and confident working with financial claims or shortages.
