Bookkeeper

About the position

A dynamic organization based in the East Rand is looking to employ a Bookkeeper with 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Minimum Requirements

• Matric
• BCom or Diploma in Accounting / Finance (Advantageous)
• 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Own vehicle and reliable transport
• MS Office & Excel (Advanced)
• Strong logical thinking and essential numerical competency
• Deadline-driven with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Highly organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Professional, reliable, and a strong team player with effective communication skills
• Full Debtors function for branches as assigned by management
• Loading of all payments on the banking systems
• Local supplier reconciliations
• Foreign Creditor reconciliations
• Updating and Maintaining of FNB Recipients folders on FNB – in line with Company Policy.
• Shipping income and expense report.
• Full accounting function / Bookkeeping to trial balance
• Preparation of customs documents and invoice for stock to African branches
