About the position
Our client is a Seafood processing company based in Paarden Island, near Cape Town. The successful person will be responsible for maintaining the business's financial records, tracks debits and credits, reconciles bank statements, prepares bank deposits, and accounting function up to trial balance. Key duties include updating the general ledger, processing accounts payable and receivable, managing payroll, and ensuring compliance with SARS regulations. Requirements: Minimum of grade 12/matric - tertiary qualification will be a benefit.
2 years' experience in financial bookkeeping up to trial balance..
Accounting experience in the FMCG and/or Foods industry will be beneficial.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and SAP skills are required.
Own transport and vehicle with valid drivers' license required.
