Bookkeeper

About the position

Bookkeeper required for an IT company. Previous experience with IT bookkeeping would be advantageous as well as SAGE One and strong Excel skills.
Reliable transport required as this is an on-site role in Hillcrest.

Responsibilities:

• General administration, including document organisation and correspondence management
• Managing the general ledger and ensuring accurate financial records
• Preparing profit and loss reports to track company performance
• Handling invoicing and quotations, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
• Managing debtors and creditors, ensuring timely payments and collections
• Assisting with reconciling accounts and tracking expenses
• Preparing trial balances to ensure financial accuracy
• Handling personal tax matters for the CEO and other companies in the Group

Requirements:

• Strong administrative and organisational skills
• Experience with basic bookkeeping principles
• Proficiency in invoicing, quoting, and financial documentation
• Experience with debtors and creditors management
• Experience with Sage One for bookkeeping and financial management
• Understanding of trial balance preparation
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
