We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team in Stikland, Cape Town. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions. Your expertise will help ensure the smooth operation of our financial processes and compliance with regulations, making you an essential member of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general bookkeeping and transaction recording to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage invoicing and accounts receivable to ensure timely payments.
• Process accounts payable efficiently to maintain good vendor relations.
• Provide payroll support to ensure accurate and timely employee compensation.
• Assist with import and export documentation to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Support tax-related activities and compliance efforts.
• Prepare financial reports and conduct reconciliations to provide insights into financial performance.
• Maintain thorough documentation and record-keeping practices.
• Offer administrative support and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Qualifications:

• Bookkeeping Diploma or SAIPA certification.
• Studying toward BCOM Finance or Completed degree
• Previous experience as a Bookkeeper is essential.
• Proficient in Sage Accounting Software (PASTEL, SAGE ONE).
• Valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
• Willingness to travel between offices and client locations.
