About the position
DBN000168 – BOOKKEEPER/FINANCE MANAGER - PIETERMARITZBURG
Purpose of the job:
To oversee financial operations, including bookkeeping, credit control, and stock, while managing admin & sales staff in a retail environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping - advantageous
- Proficient in Pastel Accounting (full working knowledge essential)
- Strong skills in the Microsoft Office Suite
Required Experience & Knowledge:
- Bookkeeping and accounting experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Proven management or supervisory experience, including overseeing admin staff
- At least 10 years of working experience
- Strong credit control management skills
- Understanding of stock control processes
Behavioural Competencies:
- Experience working independently, managing priorities, and meeting strict deadlines

Required to work every 2nd Saturday, 08:00 – 12:00 (half-day)
