Job Title: Bookkeeper / Accountant - Final Accounts

Location: Steeldale

Basic Salary From: R18K - R25K

The Opportunity

This role ensures financial data accuracy across business food operations. You must have corporate bookkeeping experience in the food sector. You will maintain company ledgers for strategic cash flow management. Your daily tasks require proficiency using Sage Evolution accounting software. You will use Xero software to manage live cloud environments. Your reporting secures the financial integrity of the company. You must produce monthly management reports for the business managers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare monthly management accounts and variance reports on required schedule.
• Execute monthly bank reconciliations across multiple corporate business bank accounts.
• Manage customer account reconciliations and resolve outstanding queries without delay.
• Compile and submit statutory returns including tax and payroll documents.
• Operate Sage Evolution and Xero software platforms for daily accounting.

Must Haves!

• Hold a Accounting Degree or Diploma.

Required Experience

• Show corporate bookkeeping experience within the food or manufacturing sector.
• Display technical skill operating Sage Evolution accounting software computer platforms.
• Demonstrate past work experience managing live cloud environments using Xero.
• Perform corporate customer account reconciliations for the food supply business.
• Produce monthly management reports for the business unit department managers.
