About the position

THE COMPANYS IS A fully outsoucef finance and accounting and complicance solutiona liberating clients from adminso that they have time to focus and giving them the insight to make their businesses [URL Removed] assist with the financial, accounting and compliance work involved in servicing their
clients.
The position is a work from home position, and the employee will be required to attend in-person meetings at times or spend time at clients when necessary.
The financial responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks:

  • Full bookkeeping function up to Management Accounts level.
  • Capture supplier invoices.
  • Allocate supplier payments to supplier invoices.
  • Allocate customer receipts to customer invoices.
  • Reconciling the bank accounts monthly and ensuring monthly bank statements reconcile to system
    bank balances.
  • Loading payments on bank accounts for release and managing transfers to and from savings
    accounts.
  • Allocate income and expenses that are not part of customers and suppliers.
  • Maintaining fixed asset registers.
  • Assisting with the preparation and checking of VAT calculations and returns.
  • Assisting with the preparation of Provisional Tax calculations and returns.
  • Assisting with the preparation of Income Tax returns.
  • Assisting the Payroll Manager with the payroll function.
  • Managing and storing various statutory, HR and other relevant documents.
  • Assisting with company secretarial duties and regulatory compliance oversight.
  • Liaising with auditors.
  • Communicating with and managing relationships with clients.
  • Ensure that remote working processes are well managed.
  • Ad hoc tasks as and when they arise.
  • Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience with and knowledge of the Xero Accounting System is a plus.
  • Creditors and Debtors experience.
  • Experience up to Trial Balance and Management Accounts level.
  • Independent worker with the ability to focus and get the work done.
  • Disciplined and motivated to work in a remote working environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and Word skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Impeccable organisational, methodical and administrative skills.
  • Attention to detail, meticulous and extremely organized.
  • Driven, motivated, hardworking, and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Honest and reliable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Qualification:
  • B. Com Accounting OR senior Bookkeeping qualification with at least 3 plus years of bookkeeping/ financial management experience.
