About the position
A well-established law practice is seeking to appoint a Temp Bond Conveyancing Secretary.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- Matric
- Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, Knowledge of Lexis Nexis
- Min 5 years conveyancing experience
- Must have bond experience for two of the following banks - ABSA, FNB, Standard, Nedbank. Mainly sectional title bonds
DUTIES:
- Contacting clients, Chasing FICA documents, Opening of accounts for Debit Order, completing and returning our form for drafting
- In Depth knowledge of property and conveyancing law
- Preparing bond documents for client to sign
- Requesting documents from Bank
- Updating developer with progress
- Making appointments but not seeing clients
- Uploading documents to Storedoc
- Lodging and registering bond
A knowledge of the following would be advantages:
- Knowledge of Lexis Convey / E4
- Storedoc
- nCino (Docfox)
- Legalsuite Accounting Software
- Searchworks
