About the position
Our client is seeking an experienced Boilermaker / Welder to join the Camperdown, Pietermaritzburg team,
· Lubrication and maintenance of the entire plant,
· Planned preventative maintenance of the mill, ensuring minimum downtime
· Ensuring at all times, plant and product quality,
· Follow the planned maintenance schedule,
· Control the cost of maintenance and consumables,
· Ensure adherence to safety systems,
· Construct, assemble, maintain, and repair stationary boilers and boiler house auxiliaries.
· Direct cleaning of boilers and boiler furnaces,
· Accurate daily capturing of relevant maintenance data,
· Properly record the breakdowns and materials used during,
Requirements· Grade 12
· Qualified Boilermaker,
· Minimum 3 – 5 years relevant experience,
· Welding and rigging knowledge,
· Knowledge of electrical systems preferred,
· Valid drivers license,
