Position: EMPLOYEE BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR Position overview / summary: The Benefits Administrator is responsible for managing the full employee benefits claims cycle and the communication required between employees, employers, and fund administrators Job description (role responsibilities and key activities): Accurate processing of the following: Qualifications:- Skills / attributes:- System skills:-
? To ensure that all claim submissions are performed accurately, on
time and on the correct platforms.
? To communicate effectively and timely with other internal
departments and external stakeholders to resolve any queries.
? To liaise with the Payroll Manager on any quality concerns,
suggestions or ideas required.
? Basic functions and procedures on VIP Payroll software required
for the successful completion of benefit claims.
o Administrative duties e.g. filing
o General benefit claim queries
? Matric, with a recognised HR tertiary qualification or relevant HR
experience.
Experience:-
? A minimum of 3 - 5 years experience in Benefits Administration.
? An understanding of all applicable labour legislation (BCEA)
? Experience in NBC for the Road Freight Industry is beneficial.
? Experience and knowledge of VIP Premier payroll is beneficial.
? Ability to clearly communicate with employees and stakeholders on all levels is essential.
? Organised and detail oriented.
? Confidentiality, integrity and honesty.
? Driven, self-managed and motivated.
? Good planning skills.
? Numerical and written communication skills.
? A methodical approach to work.
? Competent in VIP Premier Payroll is advantageous.
? Advanced levels of computer literacy (MS Office suite).
? Experience on Sanlam STeP portal advantageous
? Competent in COIDA process and COMPEASY platform
