About the position
Team lead activities.
Coordinate and oversee the daily activities of the team.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.
Monitor team performance and productivity.
Resolve conflicts and address team issues.
Act as single point of contact between the team and management.
Communicate goals, expectations, and feedback clearly.
Facilitate team meetings and discussions.
Report on team progress and results to management.
Set team goals and deadlines in alignment with project objectives.
Plan and allocate resources effectively.
Track progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Ensure the quality of work produced by the team meets required standards.
Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Routine activities.
Work rotation spans over morning, evening, and weekend shifts, also on public holidays.
Provide general assistance to the Operations team and end users.
Adhere to the PIC processes (Problem, Incident & Change Management.
Perform daily operations tasks and end user support.
Creation of pertinent test documentation.
Enable end user knowledge transfer and training.
Work closely with other functional consultants, developers, product owners and various global stakeholders in a bigger feature team.

Analysis of issues arising from an operational, functional and maintenance point of view.
Development of scripts and amendment of packages which includes python, bash, config files all formats.
Database copies.
Working on user stories.
Curating user access and permissions concerning all environments.
Interfacing with other teams concerning all aspects of WSS.
Proper documentation concerning Testing using X-Ray.
Conduct Unit tests, Integration tests and System Integration security tests.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum of 8 Years experience in IT/DevOps environment.
Relevant IT degree/diploma.
Essential Skills:
Technical understanding to assist with problem resolution.
Understanding of operations processes.
Informatics understanding to resolve problems related to data flow between various systems & middleware.
Capability to improve on current processes where required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

Networking Concepts - NAS - Mounts - AD groups.
