About the position

About the Role:
We are looking for a commercially driven, high-performing B2B Sales Executive to accelerate growth across Sub-Saharan Africa.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building strategic partnerships, and influencing senior decision-makers. You will work with leading corporate brands, advertising agencies, production companies, and enterprise clients, helping them unlock the full power of the company's world-class visual content solutions.
Reporting into the Sales leadership team, you will be responsible for generating new revenue, strengthening key client relationships, expanding market share, and positioning the company as the preferred visual content partner across the region.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Drive new business acquisition across corporate, agency, media, broadcast, and production sectors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, including marketing leaders, procurement teams, creative directors, and C-suite executives.
  • Identify, develop and close high-value opportunities across the company's portfolio.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans to maximise revenue growth and client penetration.
  • Conduct consultative discovery meetings to uncover customer needs, business challenges, and content strategies.
  • Position the company as a strategic business partner through solution-led selling.
  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across stock content, custom content, editorial and AI tools.
  • Develop compelling proposals, presentations and commercial agreements tailored to client objectives.
  • Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures.
  • Manage a healthy pipeline through CRM and maintain accurate forecasting targeting 25+ discovery or solution-orientated meetings per month.
  • Attend client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities across the region.
  • Share best practices and mentor colleagues through leadership by example.
  • Consistently exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and business development KPIs.

What We're Looking For
Essential Experience

  • 3+ years' successful B2B field sales or business development experience.
  • Proven track record of winning new business and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience selling consultative solutions within media, content licensing, SaaS, technology, marketing services, or related industries.
  • Strong experience engaging senior stakeholders and navigating complex buying environments.
  • Advanced relationship-building, networking, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen, forecasting capability, and analytical skills.

Advantageous

  • Experience working with large corporates, listed companies or enterprise customers.
  • Existing network within corporate brands, advertising agencies, production companies, or creative industries.
  • Experience across African markets or international business environments.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce Engage, Outreach or equivalent tools.
