About the position
Are you a seasoned B2B sales professional with a passion for the food manufacturing and FMCG space? A leading oil and fats producer is looking for a driven Key Accounts Manager to own and grow a strategic portfolio across the inland region.
About the Role
This is a high-impact, commercially focused position where you'll be responsible for driving revenue and volume targets across a portfolio of key B2B accounts. You'll work across distributors, food service, and manufacturing segments — building lasting relationships, securing profitable contracts, and identifying new business opportunities in a competitive market.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing and growing existing key accounts while actively prospecting for new business across the full product range
- Developing and executing a commercial action plan to deliver budgeted revenue and volume targets
- Negotiating B2B contracts using competitor analysis to recommend competitive pricing
- Gathering and presenting market intelligence to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborating with internal teams on forecasting, pallet management, and credit processes
- Driving promotional activity, trade shows, and marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence
- Ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction across all assigned segments
What You'll Need
- Minimum 5 years' experience in B2B sales and marketing — non-negotiable
- Proven experience selling fats and oils in the B2B space is essential
- Strong understanding of the distributor, food service, and manufacturing landscape
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Matric essential; relevant tertiary qualification advantageous
- Based in or able to work from the Nasrec/Johannesburg area
