About the position

Vacancy: Auto Electrician (Trade Tested)
Location:  Kokstad
 
A well-established company based in Kokstad is seeking a qualified and experienced Trade Tested Auto Electrician to join their team.
 
Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Trade Test Certificate as an Auto Electrician
• Minimum 3–5 years’ relevant working experience
• Experience working on trucks, trailers, heavy-duty vehicles, or automotive electrical systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of electrical wiring, alternators, starters, and vehicle electronic systems
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Valid driver’s licence advantageous
• Clear criminal record

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on vehicles and equipment
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical components and systems
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety and company standards
• Complete job cards and related documentation accurately

 
Salary:

• Market-related salary offered based on experience and qualifications.
