About the position
Description:
Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for an experienced Auto Electrician to join their mining company based in Mpumalanga. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems on vehicles and equipment in a safe, compliant and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installation, testing, fault-finding and repairs on vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnose electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment, tools and diagrams.
- Repair, recondition and replace electrical components, including charging and starting systems.
- Operate hand tools, specialised equipment and workshop machinery safely and effectively.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality and legislative requirements.
- Report incidents, defects and unsafe conditions in line with procedures.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support operational needs.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Auto Electrician Trade Test Certificate
- 5 years' experience as a qualified Auto Electrician
- 5 years' maintenance experience on earth moving equipment (CAT, Bell, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo)
- Valid Driver's License
