Auto Electrician

About the position

We're looking for a qualified Auto Electrician with experience in the mining industry to join our team in Mokopane. You will be responsible for the installation, repairs and maintenance of electrical wiring and computer-based equipment in mining vehicles and related equipment. This includes LDVs, trailers, trucks, agricultural equipment, earthmoving equipment, excavators, dozers, and CAS Systems.

Desired Skills:

• Ability to work at heights and in an underground mining environment. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Knowledge of basic electro hydraulics Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act to ensure compliance.
• 3-5 years of work experience as Auto Electrical Technician Experience with mining equipment Experience in electrical fault-finding
• repairs
• maintenance and rewiring of underground mining equipment.

Desired Work Experience:

• 2 to 5 years

Desired Qualification Level:

• Certificate
